I just might have to try this. I have never been very successful with painting. I think I get to uptight.:-)

I think I might like painting. Someday! :-) I've got to pace myself...so much on my to do or try list! But in the last few months I have done so many things that I didn't know how to do, so I know how important it is to just dive in and try!

I'm glad your trip went well. That whole teaching thing - exhilarating and exhausting at the same time.

Doing things that you don't know how can be really scary. Good challenge.

I like this painting-beautiful colours..
I have been painted a lot with watercolours in my young(er) days,so this is not a challenge for me any more..today I work mostly with acrylics and various pigments, metal powder, sand etc..but I have not any experience in encaustic and oil..I have to try this when I catch more time..
and I am never scared of trying something new,not just about painting, than about the life generally speaking..
Here is rainy and very cold..
Have a nice day,Rebecca!

How interesting. I could see the water color drip and then turn into something beautiful. I guess it's the creative part of painters who know to let it drip??

Remember Bob Ross? I loved watching him paint his happy little trees. Good luck with your project! I have no doubt it will be beautiful.

Love,
Julie
