Reinvent-tage Day 3- Part 2

I awoke to a beautiful rainbow this morning...

Today's Intention

Just for today I will give thanks for my many blessings.
Just for today I will not worry.
Just for today I will not be angry.
Just for today I will do my work honestly.
Just for today I will be kind to my neighbor and every living thing.

I could not seem to get focused this morning. Even with my intention firmly in my mind..it was slow going. I knew that a wanted to make a found object-assemblage piece...but it was not coming to me...so I just began to play...

I started with a canvas that I had found for $1.50 at an import store...it had this painting on it...I covered it with tissue paper first

I then painted it with cobalt teal and white...I had assembled the driftwood, sea glass and shell piece yesterday...chancelot tore up one of my sea sponges...so it looked good behind the wood piece

i placed three diachronic glass tiles on the left...added some pearl paint to the wood

"mermaid's closet"

these are two little dresses I created this morning...

And that's just this morning... lol! I can't believe what you accomplish in a day. Of course, I'm busy repeating myself 25 times a day with the kids, but still... Go over to Nunnies Attic and watch her little video. It's hysterical. Blessings.. Polly

I like your "mermaid's closet" very much-beautiful colors-so fresh and clean..sometimes I use also shells and the wood and the amber and other nature materials on my paintings..have a good time!

Well, I went out to le poste, then to a thrift store, and now I am back home in pj's. I am insane, I know. But, you being all creative is superb!!! xoxoxoox

And now I'm all caught up with your endevor. And yes today you discovered that a plan or expectation is not necessary to start...just a starting point. While you are in the "doing" stage, your muse is gently guiding you and whispering to you the next step to the magic.

I don't have one talented bone in my body. Creative people like you amaze me. And to think you were upset that's all you got done in the morning....

Love,
Julie

Hi!
I always think it is such a delight to see new art when I come by. Love you Reinventing. I'll have to try that as soon as I can slow down a minute. :) But it's all art right now, so I'm Re-Creating right!?

Amelia Is was on the top of my list along with Vero Beach. VB won out because we really needed to go visit the in-laws who live down there. So what if it rains, I'll walk the beach anyway!
