Reinvent-tage Day 10 - Part 2

Today's Intention...trust my instincts...

Trusting my creative instincts is so cool...just going where my soul needs to go is taking me to new and beautiful places...and it is freeing me from my concepts of inadequacy...

Here are some of the things that I have had to do during this process...

1. Become vulnerable to the process...laying all my cards on the table is a gamble
2. Learn my strengths and weaknesses...and deal with them as they present themselves
3. Learn acceptance...of me as I am today
4. Let go of fear...for it frees me to go where my creative soul needs to go
5. Let go of shoulds...ideas about what a painting should be...
6. Embrace my intuition...as I mine the depths of my soul to unearth my gifts

My friend Wyanne said something to me about my not wanting to share my angel paintings just yet...her thought is that they are not finished...and this is where the discomfort is coming from...

WOW...light bulb moment...THAT'S IT!!!!! THEY ARE NOT FINISHED!!!!

Something happened to my stages photos this morning...all I have is the 'finished' painting...yes, it is finished (I am jumping up and down clapping here)...I have no doubt that it is finished...so I share her gleefully...

And I am blessed that I have someone to bounce ideas off of..thank you Wy...that is a great gift for me...and for any artist...to have someone they trust to tell them they are not finished...am I beginning to trust???
