The Journey...

October was a remarkable spiritual journey for me...those of you who followed my Reinvent-tage Retreat watched the full-immersion process deep into my art...unearthing my creativity and discovering new resources and inspiration within myself...following my innate inner muse and intrinsic spiritual motivation to the art that is my soul...and expression of my true self...

Amid this process, the wonderfully talented artist Sharon, of All Norah's Art, created a masterpiece entitled "The Journey" ...it's essence spoke to me of this journey as well as my life journey...I could not get the image and the words out of my head...

"The Journey" lives in my spiritual alcove outside my bedroom door...

"The Journey" joined my art collection this week...as a special symbol of the spiritual journey I am on...Thank you Sharon for creating this piece for me (even though it was painted for a show she is having...it was somehow painted for me)...and allowing this special artwork to live in my world...and inspire me...

Sharon lovingly detailed the back with wallpaper and the poem on vellum

the sown detail on the back

I know Sharon was anxious for me to share the new home for her painting...but I waited so I could give it an introduction befitting it's meaning to me...

Today I am hanging my show in a local gallery...I have 12 pieces of art to hang...to offer for sale...to present to the world...pieces of me...Learning to let go is the most difficult part for each one was a prayer for me...each one a special moment in time where I was fully connected to my divine energy source...the Holy Spirit...

Tomorrow I will share this experience...

Congratulations on installing your work in a show today. I couldn't be happier for you.

I admired "The Journey" when I saw it on Sharon's blog. I think it has found a perfect home.

Congratulations on hanging your show today. I only wish I could be there to enjoy with you. It was so kind of you to share Your Journey this month in such a beautiful way. It was amazing to watch and to learn from. You know I appreciate that you now have a little bit of my art. I think all I can say is something that I often say and that is "One thing always seems to lead to another". "Flow." Isn't that amazing! It really is more than I can put into words about how your journey led you my way. And how at that very moment I was on my own journey. Usually "one thing leading to another" just means one thing I do takes me to the next thing I do. In this case it just got bigger and encompassed us both.
Thank you

It's been a delight and an honor to see your spiritual and creative journey unfold before our eyes. Thank you for sharing that. And I can't think of a better reminder and symbol of this journey of yours than this painting by Sharon. She truly is a wonderful lady and her art speaks to the soul. Enjoy The Journey.

Wishing you all the best with your show!
