A Day Abed...

MSL day 8...

"Wings" 2007 - Acrylic and molding paste on heavy paper board

More samples for my class next week in Philadelphia...Yesterday was a day abed for me...perhaps a good thing for I was able to do some computer work..and get some rest...but I was not able to get more class samples done...no painting is a bummer...

"Tempest" 2007 - Acrylic and molding paste on heavy paper

Being forced to stay in bed has enabled me work on the book though...it is important to finish anyway...it will be a draft for the class...but I want it to be a good draft...chock full of tips on ways to make art and ways to sell art...

"Devolve" 2007 - Acrylic on heavy paper

Today aMUSEment - Get out into your world today...take a walk around your neighborhood with your camera...photograph your world...if there is a farmer's market in your city...visit and photograph the fruit and veggies...this will be excellent reference material for your art in the future...

Hope you are feeling better soon.

I have planned my day to include some art time. Other joyful things have been going on but I'm really feeling to need to use my creative side.

I read your story~ what a day you had. I am sure for that moment you did feel a flash of what could be. That must have been so scarey!

Thankfully a few days in bed will be quiet time to build your strength. You can spend the day visiting bloggy friends without getting out of the house.
Speedy recovery!

Your artwork is just amazing...how beautiful~I just read your post about the accident, and I am glad you are getting some rest! There's nothing like rest to really heal is there?

I hope that you feel better soon, too. It sucks when you HAVE TO stay in bed but then, it sounds like you've found something creative and fun to do despite it all. I like your positive attitude!
