These are the bright, shining faces of the 8 students in my stenciling class... they are holding their favorite creation...we had so much fun...everyone was quite focused and picked up the techniques quickly...it was a pleasure to teach them...and learn from their creativity...
These are the wonderful samples of stenciling on velvet...each one had a choice of colors and design...each is different and beautiful...

At the end of the each class there is a showcase of student's work...they can display anything they want...it is their show...the students displayed a wide variety of techniques...from custom stencil cutting to freeform designs...from stenciling on fabric to stenciling with plaster for an embossed look...I loved the show...and the weekend...
Today's aMUSEment - Do you know how to stencil? It is a very dry brush technique. Most of the paint is off-loaded onto a paper towel before going to the surface. The two methods of application are swirling or stippling. Done correctly it has beautifully soft results.U Be Creative Today!
