There it was...right before my eyes...last week in South Carolina...the sign we all wait for...pointing the way to prosperity...
Prosperity was 6 miles to the left...and I was going right...
How many times has the sign pointed one way...and you had to go, or chose to go, in the other direction?

PS - I am still under the weather...just look at the front of a box of Theraflu for my symptoms...have been in bed since Sunday...will have to postpone my dulcimer concert for a while...

there are not many signs like these i guess and when they come your way one should not hesitate to travel it.

I know what you mean by signs. It's fascinating what shows up in your life. I had a dream a couple of nights ago - that my agents called and said someone wanted to hire me for a *big* job. Something that would pay like 2 million dollars (right! :-). On closer inspection, the job looked anything but fun: it was huge, completely and minutely art directed, so there were no creative possibilities at all. Fairly souless, actually. I was pretty ambivilent about accepting it, even with the ridiculous amount of money that was being offered. I woke up before I had made a final decision....
