My Little Corner of Creativity

Hold Conversations with Paint

The above is the center spread of a 2003 book I call "Golden Book" because it is completely done with Golden Artist Colors products. It is a sample book for my Between the Covers workshop.

It was a long weekend. I shared my newest artwork with my daughter. She was not too enthusiastic. I am learning to get my support from God and myself. That is all that really matters anyway.

YEAH...I have artwork on this site. I am still working out ideas and sifting through years of work deciding what to use. I am dabbling at the moment trying to find a place for myself. I have been a muralist and decorative painter (walls, furniture, etc.) for 30 some years. Changing to small canvases has been a challenge for me.

Why the change? Short version - I broke my back and, as a result, I can no longer climb ladders and scaffolding. So I have been reinventing me for the past few years. It has been a fantastic journey into myself and my abilities. Cre8Tiva is the best part of this renewal process.

Very nice Rebecca! Love your art - I don't think I've actually seen any of your work before. The Muses are beautiful!

Good luck with your blog - I'm going to link, if that's ok.

It isn't as though I was unenthusiastic....I really don't know what to say. Some of the muses are scary with their big eyes. However, I really like the lady in the grass sitting in the yoga pose. She is very lovely. I really like yesterday's face. The eyes are NOT scary, and you are starting to get better with shading and the stump. Besides, you are the one who made me so picky about art and artists. Duh!
