mad hatter tea party...

i start each day barefoot by the sea...

today i am wearing flowers in my hair for the tea party...

mermaid #1 - acrylic on canvas 20'x24"

and my little dragonfly friend helped me drink my tea this morning...

then i came home and put on my party hair and makeup...

invited a few friends and off we went to visit the other partiers...

Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we're here
we should dance.

the fanciful miss has invited us to a tea party...

i picked some pink roses...

have brewed my fave tea - Latitudes Rooibos - YUMMMMMMM
a blended african red bush superior grade blended with apricot, mango, peach, marigold flowers, and red currants.,,,excellent for iced tea as well....

my fave tea cup is filled to the brim...
the magic moon

and we have tea party favors for you...

whole leaf tea sachet favors - personalization available
as seen in InStyle Magazine and Oprah Magazine

Turn a simple cup of tea into a celebration to indulge all of the senses! These beautifully packaged tea sachets are the hottest gifts around. Present them as guest favors or serve them at your next event, for a truly unforgettable display. Whether you are planning a small tea party, a formal banquet or your own wedding, our tea sachets will add an elegant touch and are sure to be a conversation piece. from www.beau-coup.com

and there must be heart-shaped sugar...

heart-shaped sugar in glass tubes

Capture the sweet romance of your day with these beautifully packaged wedding favors. Tiny heart-shaped sugar cubes fill clear tubes for an elegant effect that will delight guests at your tea or coffee themed bridal shower. from www.beau-coup.com

and sunflower cupcakes...

cupcake from kuidaore

The topping, a Whipped White Chocolate & Lemon Ganache using Valrhona Ivoire 35%, is both delicious and very easy to make. It is also a real joy to handle, and the ideal texture for piping - tinted a golden yellow, it makes for a rather fetching sunflower design.

i have tossed a fanciful salad...
YUM!!!

and gathered fruit galore...

and created a few hors d'oeuvres...

there could be pink champagne on ice...

served in flirty girl glasses

flirty girls all in a row - hand painted portrait wineglasses

later i will put on my favorite dancing shoes...so let's dance...
and nibble on pink champagne truffles...

next year we will escape
to my fave place to take tea...THE RITZ London

and, as a total aside...go back to my blog and click down by the "you might like these stories" and it will take you to a place called Linkedin (I believe) they will tell you how to sign up for their service, which is free...and I just posted this code into my blog posts on my customize page...although, I think they have directions on their site...good luck!!
