Yehudit...

dawn's early light

this is a continuation of the story from last post about a special woman from Jerusalem i met on the beach this week...her name is Yehudit (pronounced yeah-who-deet) Hebrew for Judith...of Hebrew origin meaning "from Judea"...have you ever had an experience where, during it, you knew you life had been touched in such a way that you would never be the same again....that is what happened to me this morning...

Yehudit walks on beach

Yehudit walked with me this morning...slowly as my foot is healing...she is very tiny with a gigantic spirit...she told me of her life and her mission...she is a Jew who believes in Christ...and her mission is to dispel hatred from the hearts of people all over the world...i believe in my heart of hearts i took a walk with Jesus this morning...

Yehudit's sky

she said, "one word spoken in anger can place hate in someone's heart...you may not even know that the seed has been planted...and this tiny seed thought causes damage to the world...."

has anyone planted a tiny seed in your heart?

That is lovely. I so miss walking by the ocean - the water, the sun (or moon!), the sky, the sand - so magical and healing.

It sounds like a wonderful heart connection (and what a great heart-shaped stone? shell? I love finding those serendipitous sorts of things...)

Hope your foot heals quickly.

It looks like some seeds of kindness have been sown, as well -
what a beautiful harvest! May the blessings continue in abundance for you, Rebecca~

Ohhh Rebecca!
I have had more seeds planted in my heart for that reason and others as well then you could possibly imagine. That's why I have to keep busy and create all the time. I took a walk along the beach months ago with my Aunt. We collected shells, wrote in the sand and it was just wonderful. Can't say that I often get to take walks on the beach but I can only imagine the wonderful feeling it gives.I'm sure that this walk would have been much more spiritual if it were just my Aunt and I.
Walks like that are exactly what I would do if I could. Walk along the beach, looking at nature and drinking it all in. Looking at nature and understanding that it was put there for us by a greater force can be refreshing. I have to admit that I long for that refreshment. My thought on religion is that we are all one. I've seen it but only when I was close to death. In the end, all forms of Religion believe in something. That something made nature and because of that trips to the beach and any place that shows nature is often a spiritual outlet. A place where you feel at home.
