Muse Parlatore

"First learn the meaning of what you say, and then speak." –Epictetus (55 AD - 135 AD)

Muse Parlatore (talker in Italian) is a chatterbox. She loves words and uses them frequently. She can hold conversations anywhere with anybody at any time. She talks to people on the subway, she talks to people waiting in line with her, she talks to mimes. You know her, she has cornered you somewhere. Parlatore has a way of bringing you into her world that does not bother you. Her joy is infectious. You walk away smiling.

Today's aMUSEment - Make a point of talking to the next five people you meet that you don't know. Just say "hi" and give them a second or two of eye contact. If that feels so very uncomfortable for you, then smile at the next five strangers you meet. A smile and a kind hello can change someones day. It can change you too!
U Be Creative Today!

PS - The Muses kidnapped us for a couple of days of chaos. But I am happy to report that we are back, a little bruised and shaken, but much wiser. We have been through full-blown spiritual warfare the past two days and have survived by the grace of God. We step into the world this morning with no safety net. Free to be whatever we can be....

Rebecca, talk to 5 strangers? say hello? I think that I can do that. Not in the shop but on the street. I usually am "too busy" to even look up but in Saluda, I will feel the power today to do that. Thank you for the suggestion. I feel better already. I love todays story or Paralatore.
