Reinvent-tage Retreat Day 25

Today's Intention...attempt the absurd...

‘Only those who attempt the absurd will achieve the impossible.’ — M. C. Escher

For many years it was believed that it was aerodynamically impossible for the bee to fly...the bees are glad nobody ever told them...that is why I am glad nobody ever told me this reinvention process was impossible...

Okay, I admit it...perhaps this reinvention process was mite absurd...but impossible...no way...not for me...

So today it hit me...I need to get the art I have made framed for presentation and hanging in the gallery...only seven more days...one short week...(nail biting/hand wringing/panic attack time)...and I have a magazine to get finished and a demonstration to do at the local showhouse on Saturday...can one woman do all this without loosing her mind...the jury is still out on this one...

fabric from Versailles -- the Napoleon Exhibit here

Napoleonic bees are my favorite...I have NB fabric all over the house...I also have several NB paintings and the NB appears on many items I own...someday when this process is slowed a tad...I will show you some of them...

See post here for your invitation to join the Reinvent-tage Retreat...and to see how the process works...

I really love that fabric! That is so beautiful. I can't wait to see what NB things you have!

Yes, you can do it all! You might lose your mind, I agree, but that is just the kind of thing we do sometimes. You'll get it (your mind) back about a week later. I promise!

You surely are a busy bee Rebecca! Yes, we women tend to take on too much (I surely have that tendency). I think it comes from an all embracing love of life and the belief (or memory) that we are powerful and can do it all! LOL!

Wishing you extra hours in the day to accomplish everything. You'll do it.. one step at a time as they say.

Dear Rebecca,
Somehow you will get it all done. I don't know how. It will be a miracle.

You have a sister in the society of NB lovers! I even have earrings very much like yours.

You go girl!

Please know that I am safe.
God blees you for your beautiful big compassionate heart!
You are beautiful in and out!
And so talented!
I love your artistic spirit.

They say that in the olden days before eyeglasses, people... with very few exceptions... had perfect eyesight. Perhaps because it never dawned on any of them that their eyesight would go blurry and no one told them that.

Let it never enter into your mind that you cannot accomplish something!

Oh yes, reinvention is possible which is good - sometimes a change is needed to reinvigorate our spirits.

And I like those particular bees, too, although I didn't know that they are called Napoleanic bees. Thanks for letting me know. :)
